Have a certain piece of jewelery or pieces of jewelery that you wear all the time, every day? Are there certain pieces that you only wear at certain times? Share your stories, I'm interested to see what opinions different women have on jewelery...Share your stories and I'll share mine.

Right now I have my wedding band and solitaire ring on my left hand, a custom-designed topaz ring that I have had since 8th grade on my right hand, a tiffany bracelet on the right wrist and a tiffany necklace (both tiffany were gifts from hubby) that almost never come off. Although I did take off and leave off the tiffany pieces for nearly 2 months but started wearing them again a few weeks ago. Since I have multiple ear piercings I usually have studs in all but the lowest holes, I save those for earrings I have to go with what I am wearing. Unless I lose one, they never come out.

The only time most of the jewelry comes off is like last night - when I work with polymer clay. The rings gouge the clay, and the bracelet and watch slide down my arms and get into the clay. So nothing on the arms or hands! I just have to remember to put it all back on - LOL!

I had been wearing two necklaces, earrings, rings in ring-fingers of both hands, bangles but after having a baby I hardly wear a neclace.

I too took off my necklace when my son was a baby but I have gone back to wearing it now for the last three years as my son is almost four now! I understand the need to take off the necklace! You are a good mother! :)

I have an unusual silver pentagram my partner gave me as a gift, I always wear. I also have several silver rings that I always wear. Although I do have some lovely jewellery, I very rarely wear it now, I prefer my silver with black jet or obsidian rings.

If you read the above you will see that I wear certain rings every day. I also wear a necklace everyday. Even at night and in the shower. I never take them off!

I don't normally wear jewellery on a daily basis, if I'm just going to be at home. For some reason, I don't like the feel of it on my fingers, around my neck, wrist, or in my ears for long periods of time, although I really like jewellery. One exception was my engagement, and wedding rings, given to me by my late husband. I'd like to have the engagement ring made into a necklace one day, so I could wear it again, as a special momento. I have a family ring that I truly cherish, as it has the birthstones of my husband, 3 stepsons, and my daughter, as well as my own, and was a birthday gift a few years back. I often wear just one pair of earrings, which were given to me by my sister many years ago, for being in her wedding party. They're pearls, with a diamond at the bottom. I have other nice earrings, as well, that I put on once in awhile. Lately I've been wearing an inexpensive necklace that my daugter-in-law picked out for me, to wear on her wedding day, and have been enjoying doing so. Very interesting topic.

I wear my rings and necklace ALL the time(Even in bed and the shower) I also wear my watch ALL the time! I cannot go without them... Thank you so much for your response. I am enjoying seeing women's different views on jewelery! I am glad you own so many sentimental pieces and I hope you get that necklace made in honour of your late husband soon! :)
