Harassment!

I am being harassed and I had enough. This group of people has been posting inflammatory thread about me and my friends,in peticular one of them, lying through her teeth just to get sympathy. She twists everything around and makes it look like we are the bad guy.
We decided not to respond to any of her discussions in hope it would just stop on its own, but she posts thread after thread. Even after we report it and admin deletes it, because they decided it was against guidelines, she opens up another one.
She never names us but always writes it in such a way that we know well who she means and her friends do as well.
We have our own little corner of the internet where we can vent and discuss this, but she and some of her friends have now followed us over there under different names to snoop and see what we are saying. So not only is she harassing us here but she is also stalking us all over the web.
One of her friends has been banned, because she has been found to be a multiple account holder, and now she blames us for it.
They get nasty with us and sarcastic and when we retaliate they act as if they were all kind and friendly and we are the ones that went off on them.
This is why we decided to stay away from them and ignore them. However, this seems to make things worse. I am writing this to ask advice about the situation at hand and also to make you aware of, what lengths some users go to, if you ever have a disagreement with them.

Well sadly this has made me realize two things.
1. Some people have no life and therefore try to create one at the expense of others.
2. My mother lied when she always said "Ignore it and it will go away.
I think the more they know it bothers you the longer they will continue with their antics. May they get back what they give tenfold !!

There is no point to post my own response because you just hit the nail on the head!!! And my daddy told me the same thing. ha ha It never worked much for me either. It seemed to just make things worse and my dad would then tell me because I let them know it bothered me.
Hmmm...but how does one not show that it does not bother when it really does?
Just keep ignoring Riptide. You are right to do what you are doing.
And hopefully, they will stop with time and your lack of response.
Sometimes people like to play victim to get a good response. Sad...but true.
Take the higher road and know that they will get what should come to them in time.

The people harassing you are not being effective at all. I did not even know it is going on. Of course, I and many others don't even pay attention to most of those kind of threads.
We who have you on our friends list really don't care what "they" say.

It should probably be reported to MyLot if it is happening right here on MyLot. I might be late, & hopefully, the 'better late than never' saying applies here. Usually, if it is happening outside of MyLot, it would be up to the webmaster(s) &/or owner of the actual server/host to do something about it (such as a server-wide ban on the IP address).

Wow. I wouldn't notice if someone started a discussion about me nor would I care. You should be flattered that they have you on their mind.
I don't know what to do. If someone was stalking me online and they lived close to me... I would knock them upside the head. That would put an end to it.
If I chose not to take the violent route, I would report them to the FBI. One of their main internet crime offices is in my town.

You shoudl def. report them to the admin. Tell them you are being harrassed and everytime they delete an inappropriate discussion they just make a new one. Ask them to ban the user(s). I'm sorry this is happening to you.
