Since we are supposed to live in modern times I wanna know how many men ACTUALLY do house work??? Be honest MEN!!! LOL I don't know many guys that do it without complaining about one thing or another.

I don't mind housework at all because it usually means that I'm going to recieve a visit from one of my girlfriends... I think it's probably married men that will have issues about homestuff like that, I don't because for me, it's a matter of Romance! LOL! :)

LMAO well Iguess thats better than nothing at least when you do get married you will do house cleaning so your not cut off LOL I would have to disagree about it being a married thing because my sister's bf does NOTHING unless he's in trouble

There's no conventional "marriage" in my future at all! :) That's why housework is choice and not a chore! :)

My other half, he got the URGE to clean the other day! It might sound weird but with a baby, he knows it's hard for me to get everything done all the time when it needs to be done so he doesn't mind helping me out around the house! I usually do the dishes, washing & stuff bu seriously, he vacuumed the carpets the other day, a few weeks back he mopped all the lino floors & then went outside to clean up the verandah! On top of all that, he rearranged the lounge room - just today, he also dusted all the appliances before he moved them to their new spots! I guess some of us are just lucky to have helpful guys in our lives, others have the guys who think cleaning is only something women do!

My husband is atually a clean freak, where as I am a bit more laid back. He does most of the house work. I will do the basics during that day since I am a full time mom. On the weekends he will do the major things. It works out for us.

Because I have a chronic pain illness, there are some chores that are physically hard on me. My husband shares with the dishwashing duties and he does all the vacuuming and floor cleaning. Sometimes he gets really obsessed with it and drives me crazy but he does a good job... such a good job it makes me feel guilty. I'm really very lucky. I know my first husband would not have been able to handle my illness. He thought doing the Saturday crossword puzzle was being lazy. :p

Well I still live at home with my parents but I have to be honest, I am barely home and my dad does most of the house work! lol. He is home way more than me and my mom and we come home to fresh laundry and the dishes all done! My dad hates seeing things dirty so he ends up cleaning more than me and my mom do put together.
