When our mother passed away my oldest sister helped me a lot. I think it's because we have some of the same feelings. I have 3 brothers and 4 sisters, but i am closer to my oldest sister. Take care Clarah-cille.

I was barely 18 when liver cancer took my mother away from me forever. It was followed by three years of painful journey. I cope with the grief alone as my family was not used to openly expressed our feelings. Oh, it was not easy. Even after all the years that went by, I still miss my mother. I guess for someone as dearly as your own mother, the memory will always be there. Sure, the feeling of lost won't go away but I was gratified to know my mother even for a short span of times only.
