Should you take a job with lower pay to be happy?

Should you leave your job if you are unhappy, and go to a job with less pay but is more along the lines of what you like to do?

We often talk about this at home. My hubby is unhappy in his job and would dearly love to do something else that he would find more enjoyable. However, he can't leave his job as he would lose all the benefits he's been working so hard for over the last 20 odd years. If this was not the case then I think he would just leave and be happy - after all, that's what life's all about isn't it?! LOL

Well, different people will definitely have their different views on such issues and I bet most people will say high income may be more important, but I think it truly depends on the individual's situation at that moment, so I'd say, only the individual can make that decision.

If you can live on the lower income, yes. Life is not about money.

Happiness is very important to individual. If you are not happy with yourself then you must be alarm, sooner or later your life will be destroy. But having a good pay can help us be happy because we can provide our needs and wants. But if you are not happy with you job you must make a way to look for more greener pasture.
