Unpopular animes that you would recommend...

Do you watch unpopular animes? I love watching them, some are really good despite not being well known to the general population. Is there any anime that you can recommend me to watch?

Hmm, I don't know if it's unpopular, but my friend just got me hooked on Azumanga Daioh, it's so cute. I also loved the manga for Chrono Crusade, and I saw one of the animes and it was pretty good. Nothing beats the manga though. :P I also want to watch Paranoia Agent. And anything by Miazaki, but I guess that counts as popular lol. Are there any YOU'D recommend? Because I love the same thing!

I love Miyazaki's works too! But you're right, he's already popular.=D Fantastic Children (aka Shin Megami Tensei) is my latest addiction. Not that its new. It's been around for quite some time now. Thanks for your recommendations. I'll look it up.^-^

Mushishi is really awesome. It's pretty unusual, very hayao miyazaki like. If you haven't seen that, i totally reccomend it, unless you don't like anything that's not full of fighting and such. The melancholy of haruhi suzumiya isn't really unpopular, but if you haven't seen it, i reccomend it, because it's really, really great! Code geass...i only just started watching this one, so i can't really judge it yet, but so far it seems worth checking out more.

Don't worry, there are times when I want to stray away from the popular action-packed ones.=D I actually enjoy works of Miyazaki, so if Mushishi is like his works, I think it's really worth checking it out. Thanks!

I would recommend The Gunslinger Girl and Wolf's Rain. I seem to have heard about haruhi suzumiya before, thanks for reminding me!
