Why is it that celebrities are always in line of taking prohibited drugs?

Many of the celebrities here and abroad are like this, they take up drugs that will give them temporary happiness but can mess up their lives forever...like Britney and all the others.... why?

They need to be awake for movie shoots and stuff. But other celebs like Lindsay Lohan, Britney spears .. I don't know. Maybe they have nothing better to do with they're millions lol.

I think Lindsay has a reason, she before suffered from a broken family wherein his father ussually hurts family members, so I think its that... thanks for the respond.. :)

I also think it is social pressure but hey there are children out there that get social pressure and we as parents teach them to say no. I think that if you are in the lime light you should be able to say no just like children do so I don't think pressure is a good enough reason. It is really sad that these people that are doing this are the ones we watch at home with our children. Maybe the industry should take a look at this and come up with penalties if they are caught that would hurt their chances for awards and money wise. I don't think it will happen but think they should be held accoutable.
