Everyday if they are still staying with you? Or do you feel a generation gap, they temd to be a nag? Or have limited topics of discussion and soon avoid conversation? Or you can talk anything under the sun and they're good friends and advisers?

Parents cannot be nagging. They are always friendly and give good advise. one must talk to one's parents whenever possible.

Yes I think sometimes my parent nagged because they were worried. So as long as I give them reassurance, they will come to understand.

Can see that your dad is a wise man who seldom loses his temper, and should be the kind of person who is firm but yet understanding.

I talk to my Mom and Dad at least once a day. They are my best friends. Even though they are 30 years older than me we don't seem to suffer a generation gap or lack things to talk about. We even belong to the same social clubs, all of my brothers and sisters do. We ar e a very close family.

I communicate with my mother almost everyday even tho we don't live in the same town. We are very good friends; when we get together we shop, laugh, chat, cook and do everything and anything under the sky - she is totally cool!!!! My dad - not so much...

You're very fortunate to have a mum who share everything in the world with you. I believe both of you are enjoying every bit of the company. Life is so much beautiful isn't it?

I am still staying with my parents whom am so happy seeing them everyday. I feel a generation gap, because they're not educated and you know African people. African people of those days didn't value education that much. I can talk anything with them and have been good friends to me.
