Would You Be Afraid Of A Dead Rodent?

Well see the other night one of my beloved kitties decided to bring in a shrew for the kittens, and i had to get it because i really don't want my cats to die because of some poison rodent... Anyway, we caught it and squashed it so we could get it out of the house, and my roomie is major scared of them, okay, i confess, i shriek when there's a rodent running around but after, it's fun to mess around a little, anyway, i stuck it in the dust pan and ran after her with it, so here you got this girl running around the house screaming because there's a dead immobile rodent in a dustpan after her haha..... So are you afraid of rodents? Are you still afraid of them when their dead? How would you react so a crazy lady running after you with a rodent in dustpan?

Well, honestly, I would give you a good stern look if you even attempted to run after me with that dustpan. It is not a matter of being scared of it...it is more of a matter that I would not want you to throw it on me. Yuck! Am I scared of them. Hmmm...my first time being exposed to little rodents running around, yes, I was scared. But after watching them get killed in our traps, I grew very sad and pitied them. :( So, we now have live catch traps. And when we catch one, we take it to the nature park a ways from our house and release it. Sure...they might becomes snake or hawk food. But that is the cycle of life and I do not have to feel bad for killing an animal with no cause other than to remove it from my house. As for your roomie...you need to go out and buy a fake mouse and leave it on her bed. ha ha ha ha I would so tease her with a plastic one because it WOULD be really funny! LOL

hahaha, that's funny... I would do a live catch trap thing out here, other than the fact that it was a Shrew, and because their so poisonous to cats, i don't want to take the chance, so i just kill them and then take them out into this huge field out behind my house, far enough back that the cats don't even consider going that far. Haha, okay here's another funny story, my roomie's cat once, i guess she figured that she was too thin, so she went out, got a mouse, and left it on her pillow beside her head when she was sleeping one night, I wish i was a fly on the wall to see her freaking hahaha. Oh man i'm mean!

haha yeah, seems our pets like to think that we're starving or something, because when they kill something, they bring it right to us. Yesterday morning my kitten killed a friggen weasel, i don't know how on earth it caught the darned thing, or how he killed it, but he did, it was amazing... Thank god Stu got the door closed before he brought it into me or i would have had it by my side EEEW! Funny animals....

Belive it or not, I find most rodents to be irresistably cute, especially the smaller ones. It's the big, fat sewer rats that I have a problem with.

That wouldn't scare me at all!! I'd just pick it up with my latex gloves (I keep a box of them handy in the house for cleaning and stuff) and dispose of it somehow. there's no place to burry anything around here, but there is a dumpster out the back end of my building, where I could toss it, inside a bag, and get rid of it. Let it be someone else's problem! LOL

Well, I certainly wouldn't want it chasing me!!! lol You're so mean!! Just kiddin'! That's funny. I would of probably did that too if I didn't have an old man that I force to do it for me, ha ha!!! I'd probably run and scream if I were the one being chased though.
