Here is a good tip to make those delicious thick omelets: To make your scrambled eggs and omelets fluffier, whip eggs+a little baking soda before cooking. Enjoy your scrambled eggs!

I had no idea. I have heard of adding a little bit of milk, or a little bit of water. This dilutes the fatty egg so it seems lighter. But your trick actually adds bubbles to the egg! Baking soda (AKA sodium bicarbonate) undergoes a chemical reaction and makes little pockets of air in your food. What a great idea. Thank you so much for the tip! I love scrambled eggs with goat cheese, so now I'm going to make bakingsoda-goatcheese eggs :)

Adding in a splash of milk helps too. I always do this when making scrambled eggs. They get really fluffy and super yummy! I have also heard of using a splash of water or a few clumps of butter but I haven't tried either of those tricks yet. Now I have to add baking soda to my list to try too!

As a matter of fact, I have heard of that recipe through a family member. It really does work when you use that baking soda. I love eggs. I like to eat my eggs in different styles, especially over easy with some toast. I sometimes prefer my eggs as an omelet with green peppers. There does seem to be a lot of different ways to make them.

That interesting, thanks for the tip. I have another one for you: when you are mixing up the eggs, add a dash of milk and have a capful of vanilla essence. I think it makes them not only fluffier, but also tastier. Enjoy your breakfast!

Baking soda will not affect the taste if you use the right amount of baking soda. For example, if you use 4 eggs try to add one teaspoon of baking soda. If you are afraid of the taste then try to add a little milk that also makes your eggs fluffy.
