Concious about your health? Which health issue concerns you more & how you deal?

I am a bit careless about my health and sometimes the condition gets so worst and I hardly agree to visit the doctor knowing that matter is a minor one like headache, back ache etc caused due to sitting more in office and off course at the computer. Well, what I believe is that one must be careful about his health but I even then I reamin a bit lazy for myself. Which health issue concerns you more? How do you deal with it?

As of now i dont have any health problems. I can suggest you few things which could help you out from getting rid of future problems. I heard about this and also read it. It is advised to drink 1.5 litres of water as soon as you wake up in the morning i.e, before brushing or washing your face. You should see to it that one hour before or after drinking 1.5litres of water, you shouldnt take any other fluid or solid thing. I believe that this will reduce lots of problems in your body. I drink water every morning but after brushing my teeth. But now i should change it to before brushing. I think i have given you one tip by which you always stay young and healthy ;P(I will charge my fees later)

I think spare a medicine is a good..same with me,see a doctor we have to spend money.But on the health,sometime we should see the doctor for a life..

yep. seeking for professional advice and help is really expensive. plus the medications are expensive, too. but we need to take care of our health and spend money for it.

I am generally very careful about my health.But that is because a childhood illness left me a weak digestion and weak eyes.I try not to strain myself whenever I am doing something.But some things cannot be avoided like household chores.Whenever I find that I have lots of cleaning or washing to do,I divide it into lots to finish within the course of 2-3 days instead of doing it all together in one day.I also suffer migraines and a kind of allergy to dairy.So I have to take care of my diet extremely well.I donot want to ,nor can afford to,get sick and lie in bed while there is a 3 yr old to be looked after.I do get backaches.I find that after my daughter's birth,my body has kind of weakened.Before she was born,even throughout my pregnancy,I was perfectly healthy and extremely energetic.I would look for work to kill time!but now all that has changed.Obviously,taaking care of the emotional as well as other needs of my daughter tires me out.My main health concerns are my migraines,they literally cripple me.I just feel like lying down with my head tied tight with a scarf to alleviate the pain.I take a lot of care but still migraines have not completely gone away.I also take care abour my diet.If I eat something that does not suit me,I will have awry digestion for a week or more until I take medicine.Migraines-I just take paracetamol or ibuprofen depending on the intensity of the pain.I have yet to go to a doctor or my migraines but my friend who also had migraines tells me that all that they give is pain killers,so that is what I take now.

Good to learn that you are very much concious about your health. Yeah, it takes much physical exertion to finish the household chores. Off course kids need attention and its much important to spare time for them too. How do you feel by taking the pain killers? Is it good everytime or you have to seek the consultation of some physician? Take care & thanks for response too.

I need to exercise more! I too sit to much at work and in front of the computer. I have started walking and I plan on eating less.

Well, I would like to add that you must take a good diet but excercise would really contribute a lot in your over all health conditions.

Good hygenic habits, better food habits and little regular exercise in life can keep your body fit enough I think. Atleast it has worked better for me for last 52 years. Few preventive measure for diseases is of course is needed like Polio, TB, AIDS, AND OTHER SIMILAR. wish you a good health.

i hope you find time to visit your doctor and tell your doctor about your health concerns.you surely needs her/his advice. i am suffering from ischemia ever since i was a teenager. but i am doing better everytime. i took my medications as prescribed and follow some helpful tips to atleast be able to lessen the pain. and as far, my health is better now. take care and i hope to hear good news from you one day. take care and happy myLotting!

I think health is very important in one's life,if you are not healthy or feel uncomfortable,you'll have no emotioln to do anything,you will be tired of doing everything,you can't go to work,you can't eat and drink well...you are not happy everyday,,,,sometimes...you feel unhelpful and lonely.....very bad thing,,,also,it is very expensive for you to spend money,,you have to spend a lot of time to see a doctor for everyday..every week,you can't do anything else....Very bad...so everybody should take good care of himself and live a very healthy and happy life.This is the most important!\

I worry a lot about my eyes and that watching TV, reading in poor light, etc. might cause them to worsen and then cause bad eyesight. I also worry about my teeth because I try to brush them a lot and take good care of them but I still worry about cavities and other dental problems.

Being a nurse, I sometimes worry too much about symptoms of things. It is almost like you know too much and therefore you worry about everything. However, it is important to get your check ups and get to a doctor when you are worried about anything. Due to the fact that cancer runs in my family, I am sure to get all screenings that I need to aid in early detection. Great topic...

i have sometime feel some discomfort on my right side of my abdomen or sometime below on the navel..it usually occurs when i eat food that are salty and when i got drunk..until now i an not able to go for a check up.im afraid to know what is my illness..

I used to be very careless about my health. Because of that carelessness, I am now paying for it. My weight is up because I haven't eaten as healthy as I should. And my back is so bad that I have to take prescribed pain pills every day just to exist. That is caused by me lifting things that were too heavy for me. Please do not take your health for granted. It could be that it will fail you later on in life.

I have a mild wheezing problem so doctor has advised me to restrict certain food items.When i was young i was very careless in food consumption and offer suffer with breathing problem and forced to take injections and pills which i hate.My parents never offer me ice creams or any other cold items but when i go to my friends house or relatives house i take these food without caring my health problem and suffer later. But since iam a grown up person now i see that not to take such items which cause me problems and even if someone offers me i just rejects and keep myself fit.
