Are you accustomed to becoming a parent?

When we had our new-born baby,I was not accustomed to the life especially at night when I was sleeping.I sometimes forgot the baby was there.Once when I rolled over anyhow I pushed my baby out of bed.Fortunately,it was not hurt,but I had to apologize to my baby for being such a bad father.Do you have the similar experience? How did you feel?

You are not the only clumsy one lol. My son used to sleep in a crib for the first 40 days,but later on he would sleep in with us as I knew he wanted the cuddles and my beady eyes would hardly close in the night for fear of squishing the poor thing. I don't think I am a very good mum lol,but I do love my kid very much. I think you are a great dad who is proud of being a father and may you and your family live long. You are not a bad father, just you made a mistake which was not on purpose.

Of course i never had anything like this happen - this is why they recommend you don't have a baby sleeping in the bed with you. They don't sleep in your bed when they are first born & still in the hospital - they have their own crib.
It's much safer to have them in their own cot, bassinet, whatever you use - as you cant smother them.
I don't understand how you could push a baby out of bed anyway, if you insist on having your baby in your bed, the smartest option is to have them between you & your partner so things like that cant happen.

haha mr yuan .you are so interesting .when i had my new-born baby,i was not accustomed to the life especially at nightwhen i was sleeping.i always couldn't fall asleep for fear of push my baby out of bed.
