love advice

i have a friend(girl) that has a mutual attraction with my other friend(guy)..they confessed their love for each other
its been a long time and they are not dating coz the guy never really courted the girl..and now me and my friends think that the guy is really sincere about what he felt for the girl..
so one of our friends told the girl to forget about the guy and move on..
so any advice??

I think their situation are a good basis of a good relationship. Maybe, the guy is only afraid to court the girl. Some say, If you love someone, be her friend. But if you are ready to let her go anytime, you can court her. I think the guy is afraid that she would loose her someday. But, I guess, since the girl and the guy likes each other, I think they would have a good relationship.
