I just wonder what happens to the people who always rely and still hoping from political promises. Philippine politics always paints that picture. When election comes many floweering promises are being promised to the entire nation. And after election those promises for long forgotten. For me, if you're a person relying only on political promises, you can eat more during election, have new clothes every election, have more money during election and happy during election. Meaning to say, you can only experience those things every four or eight years in a decade.

I think we should not really rely on government as it has more than million problesm already. We must do our share to improved our country. I am sick also toall those promises made by all this politicians and I wish that we could find good politicians that could really help our country as for now almost all of them are rottens and they only think of themseleves.

I must agree to that. Relying on those promise is just waiting rain in a desert. It won't take us further and our future is all for gamble.

I don't rely on political promises because most of them are not kept, that is why I pity those people who have stars on their eyes everytime a political figure enumerate his/her promises. They vote that person then they'll go back to being poor because the promise remained a promise.

I am now old enough as I am 54 years old but I have never benefited from any give away from politicians. Sometimes I wonder because I also hear people saying that politicians give sorts and people receive also but how is it done? Why is it that I have not received any? My relatives even in the province have not received any also. Yes, I hear many political promises but nobody has ever tried to give me money to vote for them.

i think we shouldnt rely on government though its part of their job to provide services to us as their customer. but in this kind of society that we have, we should start making a difference within ourselves and eventually it will have a domino effect to the rest.. www.fjordz-hiraya.blogspot.com Note:Guys if you happen to have time, pls vote for my blog at Filipino Blog of the Week at www.salaswildthoughts.blogspot.com. relying on the governments promises won't take us any further. though many politicians have their promises during campaign periods, these promises are forgotten afterwards or maybe not forgotten but then, not given much attention. the government is facing alot of problems and they can't focus on all the problems at the same time. so it is better if we are not going to expect anything from their promises, rather hope that the country will be progressive and find our own ways to contribute in its progression.
