What happened on Stargate Atlantis last night?

I was gone and recorded SG-1 and Atlantis. I watched up to the point where Rodney was in the biolab and said that he thought that the images that they were seeing were from the "whales" and that they were warning them. Then my recording ended. I'm not sure why, I just know that it didn't all record. Can anyone tell me how the show ended?

It wasn't really a super nove, just an eruption from the sun, but that was bad enough. The whales were warning them and seeking protection. The idea to use the Deadilus was Sheppard's. Nice Rodney episode. He named the whale Sam, and at the end, he was out on the balconey wathcing Sam leave.

Sounds like a good ending. I was just sorry to miss it. Thanks for telling me. How did they get the physical problems (nosebleeds, eardrums puncturing etc) to stop?

the whales were sending images of what hapen 15,000 years ago to ancients. It was a super nova explosion from the sun. the ancient had encirled planet with the force field, but the team alantis could not do this because they did not have all three power spheres. So they used the deadlius to block the suns explosion.

Thanks. It was really irritating to get that far into a show and then not see the end. I take it the effects of the whales stopped affecting the people?

The side affects from the mental telepathy with the whales stopped when the threat was gone from the sun and the whales moved away from the area. However, if I recall correctly, there were deaths from this.
