Personally my musical tastes are very eclectic, I listen to everything from classic country to metallica to eminem. It is even hard for me to pick a specific genera that I listen to regularly. It all depends on what I am in the mood for. Lately I have been on a Christina Aguilera kick and listen to alot of her music. But on the same token I will add some John Denver to the playlist.

I listen to everything too. Depends on the mood and sometimes my mood can be changed for the better with music. I heard a long time ago that listening to classical music while reading helps retain alot of the things you learn, my son listens to all kinds of music while he studies and it seems to help him. It's funny to me when my kids have friends over and they're surprised that I know the songs they listen to. Quite a few have told my kids that I'm "different" or "cool" I just tell them....no....I"m just "me" but I always have encouraged the kids to listen to all kinds of music

It doesn't hurt that half of the music that they are listening to are remakes of music for our era.

lol....no not at all!! Funny when they hear a "new" song and ask.....how do you know all the words to that already?!?! I look at them, laugh and say....I dunno, heard it once and liked it....eventually I tell them it's a remake....too funny!

I am exactly like you..Impervious..!! I find it too hard to catagories the kind of music I listen to.It all depends on my mood. But I seldom listen to metal bands..I do listen to them but seldom..! But music plays a very precious part in my life. I sing while crying,I sing while bathing,I sing while dancing,I sing while working ..I wonder There is hardly any thing left I do without music sometimes I even solve my maths problem by singing in a rhythm. And once I was caught singing while sleeping in dreams..!!lol..Now thats strange.

I am like you, it all depends on my mood...I can however listen to classic music anytime of the day or night, I am not a big fan of rap tho I will listen to it when my brother plays some and will always give a hear to any new album in order to make a decision if I like that type of music or not. I found out that music truly enriches my life so, I play it all the time.

Music means life. Music is from life and reflects life. What kind of life will accompany what kind of music. For esmple ,religion also has music. But this kind of music will make you feel easy , maybe. The young's music will make you inspired. The classical music will make you mystery. John Denver is a great musician, He is kind, and warmhearted ,respected by the world.

Well, if you go to my profile, you will see that I have a wide range of music that I listen to also. I love country, classical, pop, r&b, some rap, and even oldies. :) Thank my father for introducing me to love that music. Music is an amazing thing. It can depress you given the right song...and can make you smile when you are not even thinking you are in that mood. I love music! I love listening, dancing, and even singing. It is something to listen to while driving or even while doing chores around the house. And it makes it more enjoyable. :) Music has accompanied me on many cross country drives and helped me dance through vacuuming. Music is life. :)

Like you, my taste has a lot to do with my moods. I listen to a wide variety of music and am constantly changing what I am listening too. I do notice, however, that I will find something I like and tend to listen to that for a while before moving to the next thing.

I am an ardent fan of pop songs right from the early seventies. Though I cannot catch up with current pop scenario I like Nelly, Christina, Mariah Carey ...the list is incomplete.

Beethovan who can not hear properly was on a journey. when it became night he saw a building and a big fround there. He entered the building and began to relax. At that time he heard a music which was full of sorrow and pain. He immediately noted the music in his mind. In the morning he came to know that he spent the night in a battle field and the song he heard was the painful cry of soldiers about to die. All the creations including music is created only from suffering and pains. Isn't it ?

I listen to a whole lot of different genres as well. My favorite stuff tends to be 80s music, goth music, and some metal, but I also listen to a lot of classic rock, some punk, and even some pop. About the only things I haven't been able to get into are opera, country music (with some small exceptions), and recent rap / R&B. One night I had friends over, and my extensive playlist was on random. The music went from Marilyn Manson to Elvis Presley. The entire conversation stopped, as my friends asked me what was going on. I can't help it, I like both of those artists! :)

i'm one of those odd fols that listens to pretty much everything. I have a few genres I don't like as much as others (such as hip-hop, rap, and those other "urban" genres) but even they have tracks I like (ie: Fatal - The rza) More recently though I've been on a harder kick. Bouncing between groups like Lordi, Finntroll, Devildriver and stuff along the line's of Neophyte and Ophidian.
