the worlds population is growing by nearly 80 milion people per year. While population growth rates have slowed since their peak in yhe 1960s,tghe numbers being added to the population each yaear continue to bre huge.the magnitude of increse, coming on top of the unprecedented growth othat hass occured in the half century.it will amajor treat to the crisis that awaits us in the coming century.there are several treats that causes population rise.the expansion of human activity and associated loee habitat are th e leading causes of the unprecedentd extintions of plant and and animal species worldwide.it aggregates poverty in develo[ping countries by producing a high rate of indepentent children for each working adult.also it leads to scarcity of food and water.

It is not easy to say this but if the population keeps on growing at the same pace at it is now specially in developing countries man will loose its importance. We the human being will be like stray animals hanging out in all weather conditions without food , shelter and clothes and the crime rate will increase rapidly.

I think if the population keeps growing, resources will get scarcer and scarcer. And, as these resources become scarcer, people may get more aggressive trying to compete for them. You may also see more poverty and starvation just because there is not enough to go around for everyone. The environment will be severely affected as we continue to try to farm every square inch to feed everyone, not to mention all the destruction due to roads. Also, I think the chances for diseases that are difficult to treat and cure will be greater and more easily spread. I also heard something about all the technology that will be used if the population keeps growing and more and more people use technology. They said by a certain time, the earth will glow with all the electronics that will be used.

Approximately 3 people is being added to our current population in every second, about 170 persons per minute, probably 10,000 an hour, and an astounding 240,000 in one day alone. If we will not do something to control this rapid growth of our population, I don't think I need to explain what could be the possible impact of it in our life and for the next generation. Imagine how many would be needing enough food and water just to survive and how many trees would be cut off to replace by some food producing plants. How many resources this planet can produce to satisfy our needs before it can take no more and become depleted. Then people will fight for food and survival. Maybe another world war would happen and perhaps that would kill billions of people and the remaining will be just enough for Earth to sustain them.
