do you find washing dishes by hand to be relaxing? I do. the warmth of the water, the fluffiness of the suds... it is all very therapeutic and peaceful. that is after I get over my upset that no-one scrapes their dishes of food scraps, nor do they stack them neatly. :)

Now, there's something new. This is the first time I've heard of someone who likes to wash the dishes. My boyfriend and I usually have to argue on who’s turn it is to wash the dishes or we’d make up excuses to get out of that task. But I guess to each his own. LOL.

Oh, I am so happy I finally live somewhere with a dish washer. I absolutely hate dishes. Growing up, I always got stuck doing the dishes and hated it even then. No one in my house even clears their plate from the table, much less scrape it off. I always try to get them to put some water in a cup to make sure the juice, etc isn't stuck, but no can do. Nope I don't find it therapeutic, I find it tedious.

well, you can come wash my dishes anytime you want. I hate doing dishes. I find nothing relaxing about it, it just makes me want to go out and buy paper plates. Unfortunately i also get stressed at wasting all those trees. Perhaps i will start feeding the family by placing the food directly in the palm of their hands.

lol, might find some resistance when it comes to cutting the meats, no? my son detests washing dishes. He thinks it to be terribly gross and disgusting. He rarely has to do them because it makes him physically ill. strange.
