What is your favorite 70's-80's cop/crime solver T.V. series?

I liked Barretta with Robert Blake...Colombo with Peter Falk..and Magnum PI with Tom Selleck man he was a hunk back then...

There were so many on in the 70's and 80's. Picking one favorite I doubt I could do. I loved "Charlie's Angels". That was the show I watched in the 70's that dealt with crime solving. I think it was the first one I ever watched but not sure. Unless of course you want to count cartoons like Scooby Doo or Clue Club :) :) In the 80's though I watched a lot more. I think my favorite though would probably be "Remington Steele". It was one that I liked. Pierce Brosnon was great in the role and you could see even then he was perfect for Bond. Hello, I loved Charlie's Angels to but not for their detective abilities. I think my favorite crime solver series was The Rockford Files. I really liked the irreverant style of james garner and the way he did things. I guess others that I liked would be Columbo, Macmillan and wife and a few others that I cant think of at the moment.
