I was just wondering if you skip tagging a discussion, do you get
paid for that post/discussion?

Yes you do! I never tag a discussion I respond to. I only put a tag or so in if I start a Discussion.

Of course you still get paid. Tags is make you and other people can find your discussion easily, so you need to write thet tag.
Just for help you to get more response.

Yes you get paid. Most of the time I skip tagging because other people have already supplied so many that I don't see the point of giving it a tag.
But there are times that I will tag it because it does help the search feature.
If I do not want someone to duplicate my discussion, I will tag it because it is "ideal" to search a discussion idea before posting it because myLot does not like duplicate discussions. Not that there aren't duplicates out there. But you also do not want to be accuse of stealing someone's idea.
So, tags are just for searching purposes and you still get paid.
