Any Age of Empires fans here? I am a huge fan of Age of Empires especially AOE II - The Conquerors. Its simply an awesome game. The intense and vast gameplay combined with great multiplayer gaming is the reason for its success. I have been playing this game for about 4-5 years but still i am not getting bored playing it. What do you guys think about this game. Pour in your discussions.

If you play AOE II, you would like it even more. Give it a shot. The demo version will be available in www.ensemblestudios.com.

according to this is the best strategy game i have ever played... this is lot of things that a player can do . this game keeps the player busy and and the war time is the best point in this game when you march with your large army to destroy the enemy and lead your people to victory.....

Yea have you heard about the new age of empires3 . it's got great graphics.but multiplayer is a bit slow i think.
why don't you try it out, it's a very good game

Age of Empires is real fun.. Mongols vs Mayans??? Persians vs Japanese??? Yes sir!! the war tactics and other details have been brought up beautifully.. This is what made my history lessons very interesting indeed!! I feel there must be a aoe course sort of for seventh or eight grade s :)

i love age of empires but i find that i kill the enemy too fast even with 7 other players, it takes me no more than a hour.
for those that like nice long maps this is a very good one for a lan network
i made an awesome multi player map, its for the people who are very skilled in the game, its 2(player 1 and 2) vs 4(the rest) so if anyone is interested in it you can have a look at it, theres a easy version of it and an insane version for the people who are masterminds at the game.

Yup.......here i m .... another fan of age of empires.......its awesome multiplayer game , but i guess nowadays people find 'age of mythology' more impressive than aom........i love both in multiplayer version ......... thats my view........cheers !!!

Age OF Empires 3.
THat was the game that i liked personally. Now it may seem a bit awkward, that i am using the word 'was' and 'liked'. REason is that i used to play it like a freak back then, but no more. Cze i dont have time now, and AOE is a really really slow game if you start out from the first age. So, it's for people who have the time and the patience to play it.
By the way, i was a champ at it once upon a time :D:)

Age of Empires is one hell of a RTS series. My favourite of the series so far is Age of Empires: Rise of Rome. I could play for hours on end on a network game with my brother. I love the way the game makes you feel, especially the background music which is really fitting with the age the game is in.
