what do you collect

When I was a kid I was fascinated by 3D pictures. That was about 35 years ago and graphics and things were unheard of. It was interesting to see those plastic pictures with depth in them, sometimes girls winking and butterflies fluttering. But now I have a good collection of DVD movies and that is all.

I collect books. I like to buy books about places I have been and 'revisit' the place again and again each time I flip through the book. I also like books about hobbies I enjoy because I can spend time in my library getting inspired to create something new. Also fun for me to collect is books on growth and personal development. When I need a little pick me up, a quote or positive affirmation to carry me through the day, I know right where to go to find it. I love my personal library.

I collect a variety of different things as well. Probably my biggest collection is that of teapots. I like the miniture ones best, but have quite a few full size pots as well. I also collect butterflies. I can't resist buying them when I see a beautiful one. I also collect lighthouses, small ones, for my bathroom and grape things for my kitchen and dining area. And, last but not least, I collect books. I love old books, but I also have a huge collection of newer ones of all genres. Hmmm, I didn't quite realize I collected that much stuff. No wonder the house is full, lol.

I collect dust no I was just kidding there actually I collect angels I have so many of them all around the house. I have one porcelain angel that is still in a box I just didn't want her to break or something, I also have angels wind chimes my mother gave me that when I had a stroke, I have so many figurines of angels I just have so many of them.

I used to have a callection of stamps back when I was younger. I inherited my father's collection. We both collected cassette tapes too and we have over a hundred from the 70's, 80's and the 90's. Cassette tapes are not suggested these days anymore due to the advancement of technology yet I still keep our collection because the music lives on forever
