Bread-Homemade or Store bought?

Which bread do you like-home made or store bought?I like home made bread warm with some butter.I also make savoury sandwiches with home made bread.I find that home made bread does not have the fine texture of the store bought one,but I still love it.Perhaps because I bake my bread.I love the smell of freah baking bread in my home.And the process is so easy too!Do you rely on home made or store bought bread?Why?

i LOVE homemade bread its nothing like it its warm you take some butter on it and maybe some cheese, yeah delicious. My mum makes the best homemade bread in the world, after my opinion. But she always make them really brown with corns and stuff, but sometimes i need some white-bread, then i will go to the shop. And maybe buy a baguette and have som ham and cheese on it, but that is only when i want to have a good time, becouse im against white-bread. But sometimes its good to, its like candy its not good to have it every day, but when its finally weekends its really good, the same is here.

hmm,the ever persistent debate whether white or brown..but yes,I am in favour of health breads too.I bake my breads using soya flour for part of my bread flour.good that your mum makes fresh bread.Yeah,I know the feeling of fresh warm bread slathered with butter.I made bread today and that is what I had when the bread was just warm-a slice of bread with pure unsalted butter.A bit of a luxury,considering that butter is not so good for health either,but a little luxury harms no one,eh?:)Cheers!

There is no replacement for home made bread. I took it up several years ago. My family said it was good, but I know over the years it have developed into my own art. There nothing like preparing it as it fills every space inside your home with such a wonderful aroma. Baking your own bread says, "I Care".
Beside, you know what goes into bread you bake at home.

You are really good to know how to make your own bread. We don't know how to make our own and have to rely on those store bought. Sigh. :P

I love baking,which is what prompted me to learn bread making.But ever since I learned how to make bread,I love home made.Don't like store bought anymore now:)Cheers!

I use to bake bread for a living so I don't care to do it much now. I usually will go to the store early in the morning to get a loaf of their fresh baked bread while it is still hot. That way I get the best of both worlds. I get hot fresh baked bread they I didn't have to make.

I don't know if biscuits count, but I will make those...I buy my bread simply because I don't know how to make it myself..

I love home made bread... problem is, it's just too tasty!! We bought a breadmaker thingy, had to take it back because we were putting on so much weight!!! LOl! Yes, homemade every time, it's addictive... I am gonna buy one of those machines again when I am older and dont care about being fat!!

I love home made bread,but I rarely make it. I have a bread machine and I used to use it alot,but I burned myself out on it and now I rarely use it.
I don't eat much bread but I must say that home made yeast rolls are my favorite!!

Hey nageswari. I love both home made breads and bought breads. If we are having a casserole or stew for tea, then we like to eat home made bread. For school and work lunches and general eating we have bought bread... Personally I prefer homemade because you can add anything you want to it, it smells beautiful and it comes out of the oven nice soft and hot, ready for butter to melt
