The best of Enigma?? Enigma has music for every mood of human being. It always depends on what your mood is. however, i will still try to put forth selected four tracks of Enigma. The first one is "The Eyes of Truth". Sites show it as a solo , i.e. not relates to any album so i am not quite sure about the album or track number. This track embodies the richest of the philosophical overtones in the music of Enigma. It serves as a universal message both to atheists and religious people. It tells us that "the eyes of truth are always watching us." It brings us back to reality. Our conscience becomes clearer to us and the mind is filled with a feeling of self-realization. Next comes, the track "Return to Innocence". It is from the album "The Cross of Changes." It also embodies a rich philosophy. The video makes the idea much clearer. However, in the previous case, the video is more specific and the song can have more general interpretations which are difficult to depict in the video. third in my list comes "Majorca-Sensual Moods". This track is by Enigma and Enya. The genre is relaxational and new age in the ID3v2 tag. It is wonderful music when u are light-hearted and want to enjoy life. The philosophical meaning is bit difficult to decipher at first hearing but becomes clearer gradually. It is about a lively youthful spirit. The last is the "Push the Limits." The name is quite self-explanatory. The song does fill the mind with a vigour and energy to "push the limits". It serves as a superb upliftment for the mind when in a low.

Hi anurag, The Eyes of Truth is also one of my favourites. Its the second track of the 1994 release of "The Cross Of Changes" I don't need to add more to your response, you already said it... :-)

I love Enigma, but it is hard to pick the "top 4" for me, because they change with my mood... However, at this moment I'm feeling like: 1. The child in us - Track 7 from "Le Roi est mort, vive le Roi" 1996 2. The dream of the dolphin - Track 6 from "The cross of changes" 1994 3. Principles of lust (Everlasting lust) - Track 14 from MCMXC A.D. (UK Bonus Tracks)1999 and 4. Return to innocence - Track 3 from "The cross of changes" 1994 but like I said, this list could look totally different by tomorrow ;-) I have got 6 of their albums's, and curious about their Remixes... But like some others here on myLot, I like their older music better too (E1 - E4). "A Posteriori" and "Voyageur" are ok, but I hardly listen to them, because their previous albums are just so much better - for my taste. I think it's great music to relax or to listen to on long road-trips through the country.
