Can non-human animals have self-esteem, or is that a human concept?

Non-human animals have self-esteem, but do not hv concept like human. Some animal have more concept as u see in circus or other place human can understand command of man and can show some play or circus. Unfortunately having a higiest conception and all imagination and a being ahuman, some of us are behaving like animal or below it.

I think that animals can have self esteem, just think when they do something like "shake a paw" and you say "good boy"..they are likely to do it again because they were praised. An owner who yells or abuses there animal won't have a confident dog because they won't realize when they've done something right.

I think both humans and domesticated animals respond to love and someone making them feel special. I'm not sure if animals consider it self-esteem, or if it is only a response to living in a life of love rather than fear of whoever they depend on.
