Met sisters for the first time when I was almost 16!

Due to childhood events I didn't meet my two little sisters until I was almost 16 years old! They were around 7 and 8. I still feel an incredible bond with them and many in the family are surprised at how well we get along and how well we support each other. Has anyone else met new siblings after a long seperation?

I was 27 when I found out I have a brother. He was 30. We have since all become close, butit was strange to find out there was another one of us out there! Was bummed we didn't get to grow up with him. So enjoy them! They are young!

The youngest is 23 now, and I'm almost 32... but it was nice to help with the oldests one's wedding. My girls were able to be flower girls. Our grandma passed away this winter and the aunts and uncles on that side of the family just couldn't believe my sisters were leaning on me for support.
