Did you Receive a good Education?

Hi every one I often wonder what is now considered a good education, When I was young grade 10-11 was considered good enough, unless you were going to University. It wasn't long after that you had to have a grade 12 to get any sort of job. Now it seems that a high school graduate is not good enough, now you have to go to trade school, college or get a University degree. Then even a lot of the graduates have difficulty finding work. Please tell me what your experience has been or is at present, and is the schooling you have good enough to get you what you need.

Well, today the expectation of people especially in the workforce has been beyond limits, i mean there is no boundary for education, and people can have better education these days, well i have a university degree but i think that not sufficient and so i am upgrading my skills, and moreover every day the competition is rising really fast, and also even if u have education there is no gurantee that u would get a work since u should also have some social contact with friends and relatives which would really be helpful in getting your job in your feild.

WEll RobinJ i find that times keep changing all the time i have what i call adequate education. i have my grad twelve, technical/ vocational school training and college and several side courses. I find that with new job requirements nowadays you are always schooling yourself to keep up nowadays. Like First Aid and Whimis for Chemicals that type of stuff that always has to be updated. If you dont keep these things up to snuff could cost you a job.

Personally, for me I found school was a waste of time, I was always in the medium band and my teachers were less than useless I came away with average grades, it was only when I went back to college to learn typing skills as well as maths and english that I got the grades and qualifications needed to get a good waged job. I hated school. Most of my qualifications were got from college or higher education.

i have a master degree in psychology and got sick before I had a chance to use it so I am trying to make a living at writing while I stay home.

I am one of those person which will think i never know as much i want and i will perfectionate my self how much i can.I think for what i have to do i get enough education but i wish to make more than this...
Here is all time so many option in computers and in tehnology and you are all time late...
I don't know sure if is enough what i get until now like knowdelege for what i need but i definitely know that i am a survivor and i never run from a provocation...(ouch for english,forgive me)
