Pinoy Big Brother Season 2: How many are the pure Pinoys?

The PBB Season2 housemates as I have noticed are mostly half's! Half-German, etc. I guess ABS-CBN is actually looking for new talents, like Sam Milby had been. It should have been Half-Pinoys Big Brother. Well, that's my opinion though.. What's yours?

Good observation! This season of PBB really is a season of mestizos. Many of this season's housemates really are only half- or quarter-Pinoys. I believe ABSCBN is now trying to bring out talents which indeed are the likes of Sam Milby because these guys and gals are more marketable than the true Pinoys. If we're being honest, Pinoys really are more appreciative of foreign looks and I think this fact is being used by ABS to drag more eyes in their network - well, I dont blame them because no matter what: business is business.

I totally agree with you! many of the girls are enjoying it and those half housemates really catches their attention. I'm pretty sure ABS-CBN really thought about this. Well, that's just the way business goes as you've said.

That's a good observtion there! :) I guess they just want to see how the Half-Pinoy's will be doing in the house and to know if they have forgotten Filipino value, ec.
