How do you spend your loyalty points?

I hold loyalty cards with several shops and save all my benefits towards having a good Christmas, usually managing to get most of my gifts and seasonal food with my card points. This year I am still saving points towards the Christmas expenses but I have ear marked one card, Nectar, and I am saving for a lap top computer, since there is no way I could afford one otherwise. Are you saving your loyalty rewards for a special treat, or do you cash them in frequently, to make sure you get the rewards, in case the firm goes down?

Maybe not but there are a lot of competition sites which are America only and they have some fantastic prizes, also the product test and keep seem to be an American domain only. Have you ever tried any of these?

I suppose that is something though, do you save up the $5 payments and buy something nice for yourself, or do they get absorbed into the household budget?

My tesco clubcard points usually go on clothes for the kids, other than that I'm not loyal, lol.

Nope, I don't think any of us are, but then to be fair neither are the shops. We had an excellent Marks and Spencers here and there were thousands of people who signed a petition to keep it here but they did not listen and they moved it to a huge shopping precinct half of us can not get to. Did you see anything interesting on the Tesco link I sent?

Well our loyalty points most of them you have to redeem them within 3 months of receiving them, so that is why I mainly buy clothes with mine mostly for myself but when it is coming close to one of my family or friends birthdays then I will buy them something special for them.

Have you any photos of your very favourite or best bargain buys from your points? I have used mine for presents too, but I got a disappointment. One of the schemes I am in had a really nice gold necklace and I worked out I would have the points by October and my Sister is 50 in December. The product has been taken out! grrrrrrr so much for forward planning!
