http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18288510/ The 4 year old boy was wandering along the sidelines with his father when he got tackled inadvertently .It was a case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Any thoughts?

I think the father takes full responsibility for being less alert with the security of the boy! As a father walking around with a four year old along the pitch line, he should have expected all sorts of dangers including tampling and flying balls-he didnt take the safety of the boy seriously and I cant help blaming him!

OMG I feel for that boy. He looked fine though afterwards in the video but oh seeing him hit that way, ouch. His scar though almost looks like a Harry Potter one. He might get some razzing from that once it's all healed. I bet the football player felt horrible as well from it all. Why they were allowing bystanders down in that area is beyond me though. They should not have been there where they could have gotten hurt.

I don't understand why the little boy was on the sidelines like that. I am very glad the boy is ok and will heal up ok.

What was that child doing on the field to begin with? I was just horrified when I saw this...family day or not...nobody but the players/coaches/refs etc. should be on the field!

What a story. Thats so sad that it required so many stitches. I hope that he continues to recover. Good thing there was a doctor on site that was able to help out with the little boy.

Wow, I just don't understand how children get things done. Its just sad how children are getting hurt alot these days, its like there is no where for them to go that they don't get hurt.
