my girl is pregnant for 3mos. wedding or no wedding?

just got my girl pregnant, she is 3mos pregnant. I love her, I have been supporting her ever since she got pregnant, her parents doesn't approve of me especially her dad since I haven't finished my studies and I don't have a college degree yet. they want me to get a degree first before we could get married. do you guys think we should get married secretly or just wait until I got my degree?

I think how the parents of your girlfriend reacted to your situation right now is just natural. You got their daughter pregnant and you have not graduated from college. every parent want to give whats best for their children. AS to your question, dont get married first until you get your degree or have graduated from college. how will you support her and your future baby if you cant find a good work. just be patient and maybe if you have graduated maybe her parents will then accept you.

I also think that is also natural for them to think that way or react that way. I already got a stable job and a high paying job. I'm also willing to go back to school this school year. I just wish they accept me as the father of their first born grandchild. thanks for the advice cutekristine.Ü

I think that you should do what will make the two of you happy. I can see both sides. As long as you keep being there for your girlfreind and the baby when it is born you will look good in her dads eyes and it sounds like that is important to you.

I just want to stress that it is not good to get married for the child...
Marriage is for love and that is going to be best for the child.
I can see how much you love her and also want to stress how important it is to have her parents blessing...
My husband and I had to wait for my Dad's blessing and I am glad that we waited!
Get your education and then have a proper wedding with the parents blessings... This will be the best for every one!
In the mean time, be there for the mother of your child and enjoy this time but don't run off and get married!
