CHEATING: Why is it easy for a woman to forgive a man but when vice versa????

i have a guy friend who always cheat on his wife, and whats nasty about it he is always caught red handed. not once not twice but i think more than 20 times. we always tell him or scold him saying he should sotp doing this to his wife because his wife is a good woman. then this incident happen, his wife went to hongkong to visit a friend and maybe after all the heartache she experience from my friend.... she had an affair while in hongkong. not their relationship is on the rocks coz my guy friend can not forgive what his wife did. he is so rude. a little doze of his own medicine and he is freaking out loud.

Men are very good at that. When their partner found out about it, they would turn around and say that it was the woman fault for making them cheat. They are very good at using reverse psychology to cover up their mistakes. I really don't understand why women readily forgives their husband in this case. Is it because we felt insecure? Is it because we are too dependent on them for financial supports and etc? Is it that we are afraid of the social stigma if they were to leave us? That's is why we readily forgive our man for their misdeeds.... In terms of women cheating, men always make a point that it's unforgiveable because they know that we can be replaced easily... They are like that... They love to use psychology on us to show that they in authority... Men prefer to be 'stronger' than us in many ways.... It's a reality....:/

yeah, i agree! maybe because women are so soft-hearted and we can't let our love ones be hurt... i don't know exactly why and i was wondering too... it makes us some kind of numb or martyr... =)

just an opinion, pat. im a man and a husband too. here few of my reasons.1) if my wife bore a child of other man than me, it an insult for me feeding this child.2)my wife bore our kids. supposed my wife wife bore my son, i would not allow my son be called "son of a b...".

That's a very good observation you have there. I really agree with you. Girls are really soft-hearted to the man they truly love that even though they had cheated on them, they would give them always a chance. but if the guys are the one whocaught his girl cheating, it's then a break-up and the girls can't expect for him to return. i guess it's just the way life goes but there are some guys and girls who are not like that. It depends on the person's personalities.
