is HTML is a better program for web designing ?

html is a better option than PHP in my view

i don't think so i want to tell u as per as remembring code and writing codes is concern even in html is very boaring instead difficult but there is one think if u knows the basic concept of tags i mean to say not in details its very easy to edit the web pages there are many html editors available on internet free to download where u need not to remember much codes few of them are firstpage, htmleditor, coffecup html editor.

The purpose of HTML and PHP are completely different even though both are used for web development. HTML is a language to set the layout of the website. It doesn't have the capability to communicate with the web server and do tasks like storing data into database. So in order to facilitate such tasks we use server side programming like PHP. ASP. JSP etc. So to develop a complete dynamic website we need both HTML and PHP. For designing we cannot use PHP and HTML is the one used.
