yesterday when I went to walmart to get bags for my vacum cleaner I noticed that arm and hammer makes them all now and all that I had to pay was 4.43 for 3 bags does anybody else use bags for their vacum and was it cheaper for you?

I bought a small vacum cleaner about 4 years old with bags. Until today, it still runs very well. The bagS I bought were not that expensive as far as I remember. When it was full, I just brought out the debris by hand and put the bag back into the machine. I only change it every quarterly.

My vaccum is bagless, and I really love it. But the vacuum I had for 20+ years did have bags. And yes they are getting expensive. I used to buy mine at the Dollar General Store. You might want to check your local store and see if they still carry the bags. Hope this helps. Hugs.

i use to use those too and then i got sick of buying them. lol now i use the bagless and i have a carpet cleaner. i also have a shop vac. i love the shop vac. i noticed i was going through so many bags and stuff that and i hated changing them out too. i decided to switch. i have to go get belts all the time though and that drives me crazy cause i can never seem to get the right one the first time lol. my youngest vaccums everything so she breaks the belts. that is one reason i got the shop vac. it lets you vac up almost anything lol

For this very reason I decided to get a bagless vacuum cleaner, when my old vacuum broke. I really think that the price is crazy, and it is beginnning to look a bit like the ridiculous prices for ink cartidges. I have a bissel from target that cost 129$, and it has been so worth it. Did you try to look at other places than Walmart, maybe Walmart made an agreement with Arm & Hammer not to carry other brands. You might be able to find them cheaper elsewhere.
