Yeah, I guess I am shallow, but it's important to me to be able to tell my partner that I find him attractive. You have to admit that it sucks to hear, "But it's what's on the inside that counts. It's what's on the inside that makes you beautiful." I'd want my partner to find me physically attractive, too.
