are you a discreet type or a transparent type....

ok, we all have skeletons in the closet as they call it. there are things that we wanted to keep on ourselfves only rather then telling people about our life...
for me, there are things that i keep for my self, things that i know one day, people might use it against me, some that are embarrassing...but there are also some that i tell people, only things that i also know after a couple of days, people will already forget.
what about you? are you the discreet and keep things for your self only..or transparent that everyone knows your ins and out?

I am transparent. I am pretty open about most things in my life. It's weird sometimes, because my life has been really abnormal, and kind of horrible. So it would make sense to keep things to myself in a way. But I don't, because I want people to know me for who I am, and not assume things about me that aren't true.
There are a few things the details of which I keep to myself, but not many at all. And those things are just things that I cannot talk about, because I'm not to that point in my healing yet.

That's funny, I had the same experience with being discreet. I used to not tell people a lot of things, and it just caused them to misunderstand my motives and my needs.
I guess I've gotten to the point where I have certain people that I trust implicitly, because I feel that I can't live without that. Sure, if one of those people betrayed me, it would be really hard. But I'd rather take the risk at this point. I grew up not being able to trust anyone, especially my family, and I won't go back to being the person I was then.

thats sad to hear...we all have different experiences in life...when you used to be discreet, it didnt you good but the way around happened to me...

I learnt some years ago it is not wise to tell anyone everything, certain things you must keep to yourself and keep between you and the person who may have been involved with that particular time...I was burnt pretty bad by a best friend who used certain things as a revenge thing, everyone must remember things can change no matter how much you feel you can trust someone at the time, things can be used ...

thats what my boyfriend always tell me...learn to be discreet! and i did learned to be discreet...he tell me that a friend is worth 5,000 pesos and can sell you out when theyre already in need, and i agree with that..coz it happened to me already...and i really felt bad about. thanks for that lilaclady!
