What book would you like to be made into a movie?

And who would you like to star in it? I have read the Shopaholic series by Sophie Kinsella and I'd like to see those be made into a movie. I just have no idea on who would be the perfect actress to portray Becky. Any suggestions?

Surprise surprise!! The moment I read your question, I thought of only one book. And then I went on to read what you'd written, to realise that I thought of the same author! I'd like to see 'The Undomestic Goddess' by Sophie Kinsella, made into a movie. I'd probably like Sandra Bullock to star in it, since she's been so good in similar roles. For the guy, I guess I'd like Keanu Reaves, coz I like that pair so much!

the undomestic goddess would also be nice if made into a movie. i'm also thinking, "can you keep a secret (also by sophie kinsella)" would be nice. by the way, i also like sandra and keanu. i loved them in speed. :)

I would like any of the Stephanie Plum books by Janet Evanovich to be made into a movie. I'd love to see some Anita Blake books by Laurell K. Hamilton made into movies, also I'd like to see some of the Sookie Stackhouse books by Charline Harris made into movies among a few others.

I can't think of anyone famous I'd like to see play Becky (I've read all the books) so I think it might need to be some unknown English Actress to pull it off.

I only read two of the Plum books some time ago, but I liked them. I should read more. Mostly, I read Sue Grafton when I want a mystery. (Brisco County, Jr., one of my favorite shows. Sad to see it go.)

There's a mystery series called The Aaron Tucker mysteries. As Dog Is My Witness, A Farewell To Legs, For Whom The Minivan Rolls. Good mysteries and also funny. Written by Jeff Cohen. They'd make excellent movies. Jason Alexander could play the lead. Would it be tacky if I said my own book? At The Lake. It's about a 19 year old girl in 1967. Lindsay Lohan would be perfect for it. (It's on amazon.)

The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle. Probably Dakota Fanning would get cast as Charlotte.
