Victims of wrong decisions in court..

Im not sure in other countries but here in ours, most convicted people sentenced to jail for whatever reason claims that they are innocent.Do you really believe that sometimes, many people who are convicted are really victims of misjudgment and are actually innocent? If you have friends or you know someone who have been sentenced to jail for something he did not do, what would you do?
