Hmm.. nope. I just finish my degree three years ago and still working my steady job. But now i am making plan to work as a freelance writer without quiting my job. Just like what some of fellow myLot-ers said, working with others won't get me rich.. so i will slowly build up my side income...

i did several months ago. i had a wonderful job as a call center agent then, i am so tired with the ungodly working hours. so i resigned and tried my luck just anywhere else. then, i met someone from India who asked me to try online tutoring. the company was based in India and they were getting tutors from all over the world. now when the company tried to cut down the rate of the part time teacher---was considered part time because i was not teaching full 8 hours a day. only teach at most 6 hours. and we were paid per session or per hour...now, the company made new salary adjustments which made me decide that the tutors were way too exploited with the sudden move they made...so i decided to quit and before quitting, i asked my really favorite students if they want to consider the option of me teaching them directly. they didnt have to go through the hassle of a 3rd party company...then only 2 of my students gave a really positive feedback...i did not mind...i was earning way too low than what the company offered me when i will teach with the new salary range. i did not mind. then, word of mouth prevails...mother referred me to few friends...so now all in all i am teaching around 7 kids... so, i never regret my decision to try it on my own. was the right move anyway. when you are going thru some crossroads, think about it a million times if it is worth the risk. you have to prepare yourself because money at freelancing is really hard-earned... goodluck to you and to you new prospect...

well for me i have been toying with the idea of going into freelance instead of the normal steady job. The reason is i dont see myself been rich by doing a 9-5 job as i would be working for someone and not for myself. But in freelance, you determine how much you earn and how many hows you want to work in a day.
