Old is gold?

"Old is gold" do you agree with this sentence? as concerned myself I disagree. I say "All or every old is not gold. Am I rigt or wrong?

i THINK IT'S WRONg is it true that people with ild age, but full of sadness on his/her life, I think it's different from this sentence
