Does your rate of response increase when update time is near?

My responses haven't seemed to be increasing when the update time is near. My earnings fluctuate sometimes by a few cents though right before Mylot gives us our daily earnings. Alot of members are probably trying to get in as many discussions as they can before Mylot does the payouts. I tend to think Mylot cuts off our number of responses made each day at a certain time though and the others carry over to the next day. I know they work on a 24 hour period but I think they have their 24 hour cut off well before they make the payouts each day. What do you think?

i agree, i think the cut-off point is maybe a couple of hours before payment is made but it still doesnt stop the upsuge in posting that i do lol

I think so too. I haven't noticed a change in my number of postings made before they give us our daily credit unless I do some posting right before they give us our credit. I'm glad yours changes. that is neat. I will have to watch for it.

I rate discussions as soon as I find them and decide I'm going to reply, and responses to my discussions as soon as I find them. I forget if I don't do it this way so it works best for me I hate giving negative ratings but sometimes I have to.

I dont generally give a negative rating unless it is a flagrent abuse of the discussion set. Also, if someone is just being rude.#
I would happily see the minus tab removed and each one given a justification in the same way we have to when we report someone to mylot, I think this would cut out a lot of the malicious negative ratings

I haqve not been able to focus a lot on responses lately, but yes, I used to experience the same when I had the time for it here. I hope to come back and remain active soon, but at the moment, I need to look after some urgent things related to my job. However, I log in here every day and make it a point to respond to some discussions.

No my response rate does not increase when the earnings update time is near as the responses an hour before the update time are not taken into consideration for earnings of the previous day they are taken in the earnings of the this day and will be shown on the next day. This is because the earnings update takes place after about 8-10 hours the date changes.
We are mistaken as the timezones of myLot and most of the members are different.

i know. Its totally illogical to do it, it is also unconscious, but it happens, none the less. Sounds like i might be the only one
