Do you like your inlaws? I hate mine they are two faced, but my husband warned me about them before we got married, and its sad because he can't stand his parents either nor can his sister

I care very much about my inlaws . I have always had a good relationship with them and sometimes I even get along with them better then my husband does . There are times they can annoy me but I am sure there are times that I annoy them but this usually only happens when one repeats a story that was not expected to be repeated , resulting in family members getting upset with each other . But over the years I have realized who I can trust with what and which I can go to about different things . All in all , I couldn't expect more from my inlaws and wouldn't wish for them to be any different then who they are . I feel lucky about this as I hear so many people on hear that have such a hard time with inlaws and this would cause strain in a relationship I would assume :)

you're inlaws are very fortunate in having you as their daughter in law. most people take any chance they can get to complain about their inlaws. it is nice to see someone that has good words to share about their inlaws.

i have never met my mother in law. my husband hardly ever even speaks to her. i would like to met her someday though. I think it is important for our daughter to meet her grandmother.

yea i thought that it was important for my daughters to meet their grandmother from their side so me and my husband gave it a shot but she always keeps this big german sheppard in the house in the day and outside at night and the dogs shed so much that she always has do hair on her and we asked her if she can change her t-shirt and vacume the house before we come over and she refused to that the only reason we asked her that was because my babies at the time were only 6 months and because of that dog hair one of them was starting to develop the first stages of asthma (thats what the doctors told us, and that we need keep them away from any animals) but she didn't listen so my husband completely cut her off

My parents in laws have passed away, so there is no relationship there. there is only 1 out of my brother's and sister's in laws that I feel I can somewhat relate to - the others are very mixed up. my brother's wife does not care much for me due to an incident of mistaken identity. it sure can be lonely when you do not get along well with your inlaws.
