I just bought a membership to GOLD'S Gym, about two months ago. the recommendation, is that you go 5 days a week, however, they are lucky if they see me twice a week. I guess I started on the wrong foot, but the overtime I have been working has rendered me pretty tired most days. (it is a physical job) and then I started thinking, well, you know, I am pretty much exercising at work, so, what the heck? (LOL)However, even twice a week, the gym leaves me pretty much feeling satisfied. How often do you hit the gym, and do you follow a specific diet for your lifestyle?

I haven't been exercising much lately, but I don't like going to the gym. I went for a while, and then realised that as a girl, what I need to do to keep in shape is primarily exercising. So we just bought a treadmill, and I walk, jog, and do stretching exercises at home itself. I've been a bit irregular lately, maybe once a week, but I'm planning to get serious about it now that its summer and a good time to get into shape so that I look nice in all my dresses!

Well I don't go to the gym but I do have some gym equiptment at home that I use daily. It's a refreshing feeling you get after working out. I usually watch what I eat but I'm not on a diet.

I agree, a good workout is definately better than a smoke! (LOL) jk, ok yes, exercise I believe releases endorphins, and I have heard those little buggers can be addictive too!

I use to have a gym membership but I just recently bought my own equipment and I work out everyday on that! I do watch what I eat, I eat a lot of fish and chicken, and hardly ever drink soda! I stay pretty fit this way.

I am not going to the gym at all at the moment, but want to. Five days a week is wonderful. I will say that starting off at 5 days a week is too much for a beginner. Two days a week is a good start for working your way up to 5 if at all possible. Back when I was going to the gym on a regular basis and was in great shape, I was going about 3 days a week. I think I would have gotten burned out if I had gone more than that.

The Gold's gym where I goto makes exercise quite fun, I mean, swimming pool, basketball courts, racquetball, jacuzzi, and of course your workout stuff. I feel very fortunate, because I WANT to goto the gym now, and it is less a chore!

erm.. i go to the gym 3 times a week.. and i'm getting all the exercise that i need.. maybe i'm still lack of exercise.. that's why i'm not that thin... specific diet? erm.. my meal must consist of protein..vitamins.. carbohydrates.... roughly all the 7 nutrient needed in a meal.. i don't understand how some people can go to the gym for 2 - 3 hours.. .. usually, i'll go there for only 1 hour or 30 minutes.. sometimes i just jog for about 30 minutes.. and that's enough for me already =)

years ago, I'd spend 2-3 hours at the gym, 6 days a week. 45 min to an hour cardio (exercise bike) then either an upper or lower exercise for an hour, and then if I stayed longer, it was for fun, usually sauna, swimming or whatever. I was also on a pretty strict diet. No Fat! (slim to none, anyways) but, I think nationally, they recommend 30 min for 5 days, more if you can. However, aren't some laborous jobs exercise already? LOL!
