editing discussions?

As far as I can tell, there is no way to edit a discussion. Is there something I don't know? If you can't edit your discussion...doesn't that drive you nuts? I tend to make typos and send out my discussions without proofreading, then I'll notice a typo after I post the discussion. It drives me bonkers! lol

The only way that I have found that you can edit a discussion, is by hitting the preview discussion button twice, back to back, when the next page loads, it will show the edit button. You can then choose to edit the discussion. It drives me nuts when I forget to puch the preview discussion twice really quick and then I see some errors in my typing and I cannot edit it. I have made typing errors also and then it was too late to make the changes. I wish they would make the edit button work better.

I don't believe there is a way to edit, not even when you respond to anything.

Me too. This has been a bone of contention with many, many myLotters. I think I have proof read but it is not until it is already posted I see what then seem to be glaring errors.

Hello, miamilady, you are right, we cannot edit any discussions or replies here once we have submitted them, the only way to prevent the typing errors is to double check everything. I think it is not a big problem to have typos, as long as other people can understand ,it will be fine, that is why i seldom pay attention to it and end up with alot of typos.lol.

I noticed that, too! I don't always catch my typos and grammar mistakes in the preview screen. Guess I'll just have to be more careful.
