Yes, I met my husband online. Obviously we went out together for over one year, before deciuding to live together, then one year later, get married. Just make sure you are with a reputable online agency, preferably one where you meet people easily. ie. not having to travel a long way. Good Luck.

I have known people that met in pogo and did great together but the chat rooms I beleive is a bunch of hooey and I would never pay for a dating program!

I think dating sites can work. It depends on the kind of person you are attracting. There have been many people who have found the love of their life on a dating site. It might take a lot of effort, but that is required sometimes to find the best person for you. When you say you are tired of drunks, what are you saying? Are you finding your dates to be drunks or are you living with one and want to find someone who doesn't drink? It is possible that you can find the exact person you are looking for. Only you can define that person.

I met my husband online, but not through a dating service. We met in a local chat room. I was trying to get some business (I was in cosmetology school at the time) and he told me he would come in for a haircut before he left for basic training. He did. We didn't talk much while he was gone, I had a boyfriend the whole time and he had a girlfriend part of the time. When he came home before coming up here, I had JUST broke up with my boyfriend, so I agreed to go out with him after about the third time he asked me. We went on 3 dates that week. The next time he came home, 4 months later, we got engaged, and were pretty much inseperable for that week. He came home again 5 months later and we got married. Most of our relationship took place during online time and phone calls. We got to know each other really well because of that, though. We didn't have some of the other stuff getting in the way.

I know many people who met their "one and only" via internet. Internet is for everything. Really for everything... Why not for love?!
