Cook more than one meal whenever possible. This gets your some fast and easy meals stashed in the freezer so you don't have to cook every night.

In winter, I cook on our coal heating stove. So I do large pots of food at a time. I love cooking this way. I do Once a MOnth Cooking (OAMC) as well. Saves on grocery money and time.

Wow, I wouldn't have anywhere to put a months worth of groceries, but that definitely would save a lot of time and money if you can buy in bulk! I just cook for myself and 1 child, so we eat a lot of leftovers. We're so boring!

I love to OAMC cook and it is what my family has been doing for several years now. We are a family of 5 and both myself and hubby work and so during the week we don't have much time once we get home to prepare a meal so this is how it has kept our family eating healthier otherwise we would be eating out all the time. My tips are to keep your recipes simple and fix a variety and try to make things based on the time of year as well as the month. Post a list on the fridge and when you serve something mark it off and keep this updated. Label things in the freezer with the item name and the day you plan to eat it or when you made it. Hope you have a blessed Thanksgiving.

That's true indeed. You know, when we cook more food at lunch, we would not have to cook at dinner on the condition that we are busy sometimes for cooking dinner. This tip is practical. Thanks for Time Saving Tip No. 2.
