i also have allergic rhinitis, am allergic to dust, perfumes or collognes, aircons, cats, dogs, some clothes, food, the change of weather,, bad smell or good smell etc.
i went to the doctor before and he gave me meds to take because i got so irritated that there were times that i cant sleep because of it. yeha it did help but then i dont like to dependent to medicines thats why i myself decided to stop it. i just dont do things that i know can irritate me. like i wont go to markets anymore, dont use perfumes or colognes that am allergy at etc. but some say, do things that trigger the attack like use perfumes etc. but in weather we cant hold it because its nature right. so it all depends on you too. oh...i remember also ,my doctor also told me to put warm water in a pail and put your face over it and cover with a towel or something, and it helps you see...you can try it.

I have allergic rhinitis too, and I noticed lately that the attacks are not as bad as it used to. For some reason I don't sneeze around dogs now and the scent of perfume it seems has lessen it's effect on me. The sudden change of weather too doesn't bother me anymore. I mentioned these things because these are the primary reasons why I suffer allergic rhinitis, and lately has no major effect on me already. I just followed a friend's advice to expose myself to things that trigger the attacks so gradually I will be immune to them. I started hugging our dog, started using perfume and colognes. I don't know if it will work for you too, better ask a physician for remedies. As for me exposing myself seemed to work. Also I just drink water and sleep it off as I don't like to take the medicines prescribed to me. I feel drowsy all the time if I take it.
I still have one problem though which still causes my allergy and it's house dust. What I do is clean the house everyday so housedusts won't form as this is the worst thing that triggers the attacks. I just cover my nose with cloth while cleaning or sometimes I use vacuum cleaner.
