i mean, in our country we have this foods called "kinilaw" this means that meats are eaten raw.. but they are thoroughly cleaned and we put spices on it and vinegar! we do it for fishes and pork.. sometimes we add cocnut milk to make it tastier.. we also do this to vegetables like ampalaya and eggplants!:)

I eat sushi at least once of week its great! I have had tartar but I really didn't care for it. I wouldn't eat raw chicken. lol Sushi is raw fish but it is prepared so it is safe to eat, very good for you and it tastes great. If you will ask me about raw chicken or meat then I would say no , I don't eat raw meat of chicken. Some do eat it the only one I know is carpaccio which is thinly sliced meat and it's drizzled with olive oil, and lemon juice. The acid from the juice does cook the meat but not fully. So a Raw foodie might eat it that way. I myself wouldn't because the meat need to be super fresh, was it. raised "organically" and I would like to know what farm it was raised in and there history all all the stuff.

People here love to eat one specific raw fish called "haring" and spinkled it with chopped onion. I tried once but I can't seem to swallow it. So I stop before to far. I tried to eat japanese sushi and some of them I can handle.

I do, only to fish (kinilaw). Ohh, uncooked veggies too. I have tried half-cooked veggies but not uncooked at all.

i always eat raw meat now and have done on and off for many years. mainly venison and bison and sometimes lamb. it is only from a farmers markets so i know it is grass fed and organic. i also eat raw wild alaskan salmon. not only do they taste 100% better IMO i think it is healthier for you. i am not a great meat eater and it has diminished recently to a couple of times a month. i was vegan for years but feel better with occasional meat and eggs which i also usually have raw or sometimes very lightly cooked but again they have to be wormfed not grain fed.
