how often do you wash your car. do you wash it yourself or drive it through the car wash. my grandfather has been washing his car once a week for as long as i can remember. by hand. to me that's a little much but it's what he loves.

I truely have to say that I do not wash my car. Some times I think that the dirt is the only thing holding that piece of junk together. My dad just bought a mustang and he is so funny. My mom told me that they were out shopping and when they came out of a store he saw bird poo on the car. The next thing she new they were pulling into a car wash. I thought that was so funny. We must stop everything and get this car washed. I am not finatical about my car. It is a car not a person. My husband washes his car before every trip we take in the summer. I think that is just because by the time we get home it needs washed again.

I try to wash my car about once a week also, but sometimes I do not have the time to do it or the weather is bad, the day I schedule to do it. I run it through the car wash if I am in town and have the spare change to do so. I like washing it by hand though because I can make sure to get all of the dirt off of it and it costs less money. I'm glad your grandfather still has the enrgy to take care of his car. I'm glad he has found something that he loves to do.

We very rarely wash our truck. Mother nature seems to do it for us. I used to wash my jeep by hand all the time. I loved that car. If it makes him happy then what the heck he is taking care of his investment.
