Do You Know A Foolproof Excuse Of Leaving Work Early??

My job is unpredictable. There can be days when it can be very busy and days when it is totally dead. I was once soo bored that i just wanted to go home. So i went over to my line manager and said that i have a massive headache and i feel sick to the stomach. She let me go home.
Do you have any foolproof excuses to get away from the workplace early? Or do you just wait for the finish line and go home?

I just usually wait for the time for going home.While waiting I would spent my time in browsing the internet and even posting and responding here on myLot.
